RV Park Policy Agreement

The following policy govern your use of Lantern Lights RV Park facilities and are part of the terms of your stay.

RV

• The maximum number of RVs per site is one.  The maximum occupancy of the RV per site is not to exceed two adults.  In the event that you should have occasional guests that would exceed the maximum occupancy please obtain permission from the park owner. 

• Recreational vehicles and campers (collectively, “RVs”) shall be well maintained and kept in a clean and neat condition. RVs ten (10) years and older are allowed ONLY at the discretion of the park owner. RVs shall not show signs of deterioration, mildew, or damage. Awnings shall not be torn. RVs shall not have window air conditioning units. RVs must have all equipment required to lawfully travel on the road in the State of Missouri.

Winter Camping

• Heated Water Hoses:  All campers must use heated water hoses to prevent water lines from freezing. If guests do not have a heated water hose, they should disconnect their water lines on nights with freezing temperatures.

• Insulation:  RVs and trailers should be well-insulated to withstand cold temperatures, while also maintaining a neat appearance. Ensure all gaps are checked and sealed to prevent heat loss.  No hay bales, cardboards, or plastic bags should be used as skirting or insulation.

  
  

Vehicle

• The maximum number of vehicles per site is one.  Cars, trucks, motorcycles, and trailers are all considered vehicles.

• Vehicle may not infringe on adjacent sites or grass areas or patio.

• No use of unauthorized vehicles will be allowed in the RV park. No commercial enterprise will operate from the RV park. 

• All vehicle repairs, maintenance (e.g., oil changes, lubes, etc.), and washing RVs are prohibited.

• Vehicles in violation of these rules will be towed at the owners’ expense.

Trash

• Trash is to be disposed of in the dumpster (blue) near the entrance of the RV Park.

RV Sites

• Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m and is strictly enforced. 

• The speed limit in the park is 5 mph and will be enforced. 

• Campers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. After 9:00 p.m. children under the age of 18 are to be at their assigned and registered site. 

• All campers are responsible for their visitors. 

• Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean and neat.

• Wastewater must be disposed of properly; no dumping on the ground. Please use the appropriate sewer connection.

• No alcohol consumption by minors is allowed. Any drunk/disorderly persons will be removed from the premises. 

• The park/management assumes no responsibility for personal property left at your site.

• We do not give credits or refunds due to discomfort of nature, weather or for early departure or eviction. 

• If your RV has an electrical problem creating a problem with the park’s electricity and a certified electrician has to be called, you will be responsible for the cost of the electrician’s service call and damages.

• Outdoor Camping Chairs

• Traditional grill

• Solo Stove Fire Pit

Prohibited

• Tents or tarps

• Pools and hot tubs

• Perimeter fencing/pet fences or pet pens

• Clotheslines

• Indoor furniture

• Affixing to trees

• No ATVs/ Mini Bikes/ Go-Carts or Side-By-Sides

• Drones/remote-controlled toys

• Fireworks/firearms/bow and arrows/pellet guns

• Generators

Pets

• Pets must be kept on a leash, cleaned up after, and not left unattended at the RV site. All vaccinations must be up‐to‐date and the pet identified by a name tag. This is to comply with City of Trenton statutes.

• The pet owner is solely responsible for any damage done to persons or property by the pet.

• Wildlife/farm animals are not considered pets and are not allowed.

• Only pets that belong to registered RV guests are allowed on the property.

General

• The guest is responsible for all damage or destruction of property and any injury to persons caused by the guest or their family, visitor, or pets.

• No soliciting, peddling, loitering, trespassing, or trading is allowed in the park.

• Criminal or drug-related activity in or near the park will not be tolerated.

• In the event of an emergency please immediately call 911. If the emergency does not relate to health or safety, please contact management. 

• Violation of these rules and regulations that result in damage or destruction to Lantern Lights RV Park property or threatens the safety of park guests will result in the termination of your stay.

• Park management reserves all rights to terminate guests’ stay for any reason.

• Park management is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss to either person or property. The owner/management of Lantern Lights RV Park absolves themselves from all liability and responsibility pertaining to loss by fire, theft, weather, acts of God, property damage, accident, or any other cause whatsoever, and guests agree to save, protect and hold harmless Lantern Lights RV Park from all such liability.
